The problem
Public transport authorities were running on aging dispatch systems that could not ingest live vehicle telemetry, react to disruptions, or push accurate ETAs to passengers. Operations centres made decisions on stale data, and passenger apps showed schedules that did not match reality.
The solution
Designed and shipped modules for a transit operations platform: live AVL ingestion from on-board hardware, schedule adherence engine, disruption workflows for dispatchers, and a passenger information feed (GTFS-RT) with sub-second updates. Worked across web, services, and on-vehicle integration. Hardened the platform for 24/7 critical operations.
